Anger can be symptom of many disorders.
The first and foremost problem is excess stress of any kind. It can be emotional, social, economical, occupational stress. This stress may lead to anger outburst.
Another possibility is underlying depression. Sad mood, lack of interest in routine/pleasurable activities, weeping/crying spells, hopelessness, reduce appetite, excessive fatigue or weakness, lack of concentration, sleep disturbances, death wishes, suicidal ideas are symptoms of depression.
