What Causes Uncontrollable Crying During Urination And Mild Fever?
My one month old baby girl cries uncontrollably while urinating and holds body tight and stiff. Its been like this since last 2 days. She also has mild fever for which i'm giving her Pacimol Drops twice a day and Zenflox and Atarax Drops that the doctor had suggested for cold. I've started feeding her water to ease the urination problem but it doesnt work. Please suggest something!
It could be febrile convulsion. Take the child to a doctor without delay.

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Your child might be suffering from a viral infection which manifests as cough and cold. But the episodes of uncontrollable cry with rigidity of the limbs and passage of urine could actually be febrile convulsions which need to be managed without delay. Please take the child to a pediatrician without delay and mention the thing that I just mentioned. Please do not worry, certain medications will make things fine.
If such episodes occur again, giving Midaz Spray 1 or 2 puffs nasally can normalize the situation. But it is a prescription medication and you would need to get it prescribed by your doctor.
Hope that helps.

This time I have found the image attached. The image perhaps got attached shortly after I submitted my response.
The medicines are proper for cold. But has the child been evaluated for whether the episodes that you described, were febrile convulsions? I would suggest you to get a second opinion. Frisium can be given for the duration till which the child has fever, but it is a prescription medicine and you would need to get it prescribed by the doctor. In the meantime, continue the prescribed antibiotics for full course of 5 days. Previously the child was on Zenflox which is another antibiotic. I do not really know whether the change has been made on valid grounds. Furthermore, I would like to ask if the urine microscopy and culture was done.
Overall, going for a second opinion would be advisable. Continue the prescribed medicines in the meantime.
