What can the jelly like things be? Can it be blood?
Brief Answer:
The jelly like thing is mucus...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
The jelly like thing as you mention it is mucus. Small amount of mucus is normal when passing motion.
If the amount is larger and jelly like as you call it, it is indicative for possible bowel infection or inflammation.
All the best!

Hello. So today i had a stool and im curious about liver flukes. I have been looking into this infection and it looks like what is coming out of me. My opinion on undigested food might not by just that. I found these two pictures online and they look alot like what is in my stool. I read that you get this infection f
Brief Answer:
Stool examination will determine if liver flukes is present....
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Physical examination of the feces is not enough to determine if flukes or other parasites are present. I advise to run stool examination for ova/parasites to rule it out.
You can ask me other queries you might have!

I pushed send before i was done so here are the pictures. The second picture with the red tomato lookingb things is what i seen just recently but bigger. Ive read that most people get this with eating raw fish. Can i have gotten this from eating the food in afghanistan?
Brief Answer:
Raw foods noted..malabsorption suspected..as following...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
I have gone through the photos you provided. They seem to be indigested foods. That is usually happening if:
- normal intestinal flora is altered
- there is bowel infection
- malabsoption
The tests advised earlier are important in determination the right cause.
Eating food in Afghanistan will increase the chances for alteration of intestinal flora or bowel infection (most probably intestinal parasites). However, we can say the last word only after reviewing the examinations reports.
Hope it helped!
