There are options available for your problem
Detailed Answer:
Hello welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Usually after bypass surgery grafts works adequately for 12-15 years and sometimes more depending on patients other diseases and his own care.
Your current coronary angiography has shown a blocked SVG to OM graft. Other grafts are patent. That's actually a releving news.
Usually other 2 arteries can supply to the area where your graft is blocked but sometimes during exertion or severe anxiety the blood supply might be hampered.
I will advise you what are the options available at present to you.
1.The symptoms you have been described are of angina mostly. So the drugs prescribed to you are adequate but needs some modifications.
Ask your cardiologist about following medicines, they work wonderful in my patients -
Tab trimetazidine
Tab ranolazine
Tab nikorandil.
All of the above medicines are specific to heart without causing any other effects. So ask your doctor whether to start one of them or not.
Currently you are taking sorbitrate for angina.
2.Even after 2 other arteries are patent, patients might feel angina during stress. So how can we confirm it?
Go for trademill stress test or stress echo. It will give your doctor idea whether you have angina on exertion or not. Then we can add further medicines for angina.
3.As for your knowledge other modalities like EECP therapy (Enhanced External Counterpulsations) it will be beneficial in patients who have resistant angina to medical treatment. At present actually it is very early to say as your doctor can start antianginal medication.
4.Your C. D of angiography is necessary to watch. So I advice you to go to your doctor and told him what I have told to you and also give him your C. D. You will definitely got much help.
So, I hope you have got your answer. You will definitely got help by my suggestions. Still if any questions or any other reports you want to know, you are always welcome.
Thank you.
Have a nice day.
