What Causes Unexplained Bruising On The Body?

Question: Hello. How would one understand and explain the phenomenon of easy surface bruising in the elderly? My 80 year old mother claims she has recently developed easy bruising including from surface scratches.
Is this something related to thinning of blood or something else?

Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So in an old age there is a tendency to develop easy bruising after trivial trauma n scratch. It is due to the loss of collagenous support of skin, veins get unsupported, and develop bleeding after scratches.
