What Causes Unusual Bruises On Torso And Back?
Question: I have a series of bruises on my torso and back. Is there anything internal that can account for that or are bruises like this almost always caused externally?

bruises are caused by bleeding in subcutaneous tissue or inside muscles that cover abdominal cavity,thorax and other parts of body. so there is actually disorder in these structures. inner organs bleeding would not manifest with externam visible bruises. however, if bruises occur with no reason then problem may be in abnormal coagulation parameters and this is seen in certain hematologic diseases. also,easy bruising may be symptom of low prrohrombine that is seen in liver insufficiency. so you're need to check your coagulation parameters and complete blood picture.wish you good health. regards
