Brief Answer:
You need Physical Therapy plus some home remedies !!!

Detailed Answer:
Warm Welcomes. I appreciate your trust in HCM and assure you are on best portal on the globe for expert online medical services.
I have thoroughly reviewed health query you raised, and well realize all of those concerns. Being your physician, I will take care all of them today and will extend my expertise to solve the problems.

I feel sorry for the pain you have. This is muscular pain and is commonly associated with excess of physical activity in people having less strong muscles or having some dietary deficiency, blood disorder, vitamin deficiency etc.

You need to apply VOLTAREN GEL on the affected parts and massage it gently until it gets absorbed. Then apply THERMACARE HEAT-WRAPS on the affected areas on the skin and keep there for a couple of hours. It will help give you relief from pain and stiffness of muscles and spasm will be relieved due to raised blood circulation with these remedies. You will have the added benefit of continuous heat to the muscles.

Also apply heatpad if needed. At night take a lukewarm shower before sleeping for a soothing sleep and this will give you more energy during the day for daily life routine.

Rest is the key for faster recovery. I recommend for you Physical Therapy of back and shoulders. It will relieve the stiffness of muscles and spasm will get relieved due to specific movements done under guidance of an expert Physical Therapist.

Over the counter pain medications also are needed. I recommend to take ACETAMINOPHEN 625 mg after meals and better is to take OMEPRAZOLE 20 mg before breakfast as a stomach cover.

You also need to consult a Surgical Gastroenterologist for correction of the Hiatus Hernia. It is also a cause of malnutrition. Nutritional deficiency is one of the factors that cause loss of muscle strength and frequent spasms. Vit. D supplementation and spending some time in sunlight is necessary for you.

Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts. Please give your 'rating' (if agreed, Five Stars) to help me assist patients in a better way; and, please don't forget to click on 'Close The Discussion'.
For any disease you have, a timely follow-up is necessary regarding the treatment efficacy and to see if there is a need to change treatment options. So keep a follow up to see how you doing (Always write down my name in start of your questions at this forum & I will be with you in no time).

Brief Answer:
Better to say dietary deficiency of important nutrients not malnutrition!!!

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back with a follow up on the issue. I am glad to assist you today in resolution of your issues.

Weakness also causes vertigo and muscle pains altogether. Other causes of vertigo may be:
***BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo)--with advancing age calcium deposits inside inner ear canals. Wrong signaling to the brain causes vertigo.
***Viral infection of the ear nerves may cause it.
***Certain medications may cause vertigo.
***Some other causes of vertigo doesn't fit into your scenario as you don't have ringing sounds in your ear and no other manifestations like hearing loss etc.

For better evaluation, you need a check-up in-person by an Otorhinolaryngologist as he is the personnel trained to treat vertigo.

You will feel as you are feeling right now whenever you will have dietary deficiency of certain important nutrients in body. It is actually balance of the nutrients in our body that leads to normal functions.

Omeprazole is not the definitive treatment for hiatus hernia. That's why I asked to consult in-person a Gastroenterologist. It is good you are already taking Omeprazole. No need to double the dose. I added this medicine as a stomach cover to reduce the bad effects of pain killer on inner walls of stomach.

Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts. Please give your 'rating' (if agreed, Five Stars) to help me assist patients in a better way; and, please don't forget to click on 'Close The Discussion'.
