What Causes Upper Back Pain While On Xarelto?

Medicines gives a complication that causes midline back pain
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.
What you are describing seems more like a muscular pain that might have come from a brisk wrong movement.
Anyway, the doctor who have examined you and knows well your health history knows better, so I would advice to follow his recommendations.
Xarelto does not give back pain in particular but gives spinal/spidural hematoma (bleeding) which is one of the most dangerous side effect. So I think your doctor might have thought of that and have preferred better to be safe and suggest stopping the medicine. The signs of neurological impairment in this case would be midline back pain; numbness, tingling, or weakness in lower limbs; bowel or bladder dysfunction. If that was your case, then the I would totally agree with the decision of your doctor.
Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.

Better and not nearly the pain in my head/ neck. Still have some pain across upper back / neck area but nothing like sat / Sunday . I literally thought I was having A hemorage in the head. I also noticed pain in my right leg on Thursday last week that I had never experienced prior. I used bio freeze and was able to get some relief. Then Friday this pain began in muscles of back and leg. Don't know for sure but I have never had anything like this before . I won't go back on that little cherry bomb I am sure and after reading side effects later last night . They claim back pain and muscle spasms . I believe this is what I experienced along with terrible migraine. Not sure as I have never had a migraine in my life. By the way I stopped the m
Xarelto on Sunday night and am improving somewhat now. Read some of the people's reviews and you may suggest differently on muscles and spasms and many people also had upper back shoulder pain.
Looks like you have found yourself the answer
