Brief Answer:
Cholecystitis or gall stones should be ruled out by ultrasound.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to gastritis or irritation of gall bladder. Taking proton pump inhibitors like nexium ( esomeprazole ) will be helpful. Taking antacids with anesthetics like mucaine gel also is helpful. Applying hot water bags will be soothing.

When it started?
Is it started after taking any fatty or spicy foods?

It is better to have an ultrasound examination to rule out gall stones or cholecystitis which is a common condition in women in forties.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
