Posted on Thu, 6 Oct 2016
Question: Hello, my daughter is. 15. Her chief complaint is pain in the right upper quadrent of her stomach and it radiates across to the left. It has been happening for about two weeks consistently and she has also had headaches, and last night became extremely dizzy. She finds it hard to breathe, especially after doing enough xercise, even if it's as simple as running a short distance. It has happened in the past, but only once or twice and lasted lessn a day, and she also didn't have the headache.

Brief Answer:
Hello. This could either be a gall bladder problem or pancreatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Both a gall bladder/gall stone problem and pancreatitis could be the problem here. That said, it also could be a heart problem considering the shortness of breath she's having.

It's imperative that she be seen right away by a doctor for an exam, blood work, and a ct scan of her abdomen along with an EKG.

Please let me know if you need to discuss this further.
