Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm, Ureaplasma species are frequently detected in the lower urogenital tracts of healthy adults, they can also produce localized urogenital diseases. In some settings, they can produce infection in extra genital sites, as does M genitalium. ureaplasma infection can be asymptomatic most of the times and the infection is often not detected but can be a cause of arthritis, UTI, urinary calculi in men or women. This can be sexually transmitted indeed as the locale of residence is the urethra. So if your partner is suffering from it, you should avoid intercourse till he is completely treated and repeat culture is negative. So if you should also get a repeat test done after a week to rule out any present inter-transmission.

Hello,
It would be difficult to identify as to who got it first and from whom. You may be asymptomatic for years if the viral load is less. But there is no reason to blame anyone. just seek treatment for a week and avoid intercourse till treatment.

Hello,
There is no definite reason as to he would have ureaplasma if he has hpv unless it is co isolated but yes if he has HPV, it indicates that his natural immunity is fairly low and yes ureaplasma or even other organisms like E.coli can easily inhabit the urethra. The aim should be to seek treatment as soon as its diagnosed.
