Question: Every time I have intercourse with my boyfriend or if he does foreplay I always end up getting a urine infection a few days later!! How can I stop this from happening?

Washing the genital area before and after intercourse would help. Urinate after intercourse and maintain proper hygiene in that area.

Also get your boyfriend checked for urinary tract infection and if present get him treated appropriately.

You also need to undergo urine culture and sensitivity to know if you are resistant to any anitibiotics. Ask your doctor to put you on sensitive antibiotic to clear up all the residual infection based on culture sensitivity report.
