What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After A C-section?

Iam 33 years old woman, 6 months back I had my delivery in c-section and also done family planning.
Iam having problem with bleeding since delivery, my doctor told its hormonal imbalance and gave me Norethindrone 5mg tablets. Even then am having problem with bleeding.
Is this a common situation after delivery? If yes, how long it will continue? Is there any solution for this problem?
Or
Should I change my doctor or ask for any specific tests to do?

I read your query and I understand your concerns about irregular periods after C section delivery.
You are right. This is common to have irregular or no periods after C section delivery. It takes about a year to get cycles regularised.
You dont need any tests.
As of now you can take medicines given by doctor to get periods. My advice would be to wait for another 6 months for cycles to be regularised.
Dont worry about it as this is common.

Thank you for your answer. I got my 1st period in 5th month after delivery, it stopped on 7th day and i saw some blood drops again on 10, 13,14 days. My doctor told me its hormonal imbalance. Then i started using the tablets. In 6th month, i saw again some blood on 13th,14th days. I called my doctor she told me to let it go and asked not to use the tablets.
Then i tried some home remedies to keep my body cool with butter milk, lemon etc. They seem to be helping out, hence Iam continuing to use the same.
Iam not sure if I need to continue home remedies or till when I should continue using the home remedies? Please advise.
