What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After A Hysterectomy In An Elderly Person?

Question: I am 63 yrs old that had a hysterectomy at 37. I never took hormones. I had a slip and fall and fell on my lower back and pelvic region 10 days prior where I injured my left leg and strained my back muscles, plus my hips hurt bUT no btoken bones . After my chiropractic visit and treatment That night I noticed blood spot in my underwear. Last night after a shower I noticed brown streak in my underwear. I do take baby aspirin daily, and 2 advil for arthritis. I also take lisinipril 20 MG daily for blood pressure and 20 mg of prilosec daily . I suffer from extreme anxiety and take Xanax as needed. Can this be caused from my fall? I have never had this problem
Brief Answer:
It could be due to baby aspirin.
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and in my opinion this spotting could be due to baby aspirin.
The spotting maybe due to fall also but in your case it is most likely due to aspirin.
Because no other symptoms present only spotting is there.
So consult your treating doctor and get yourself examined and blood test done to rule out the cause.
Hope found useful, feel free to discuss more information.
Good luck.
Regards

Brief Answer:
No it will not cause thinning of blood.
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am,
You are most welcome.
Advil may increase bleeding time but does not cause thinning of blood.
So it is most likely due to side effect of baby aspirin or due to local pelvic pathology.
Hope found useful.
Good luck.
