What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Completing A 16-day-course Of Deviry?

Question: My daughter was advised Deviry 10mg 21 day course by Gynacologist as she was having periods for 15 days contineously. Now she has completed a course of 16 days and she has got bleeding. Not sure maybe she must have missed a dose. Assuming both scenarios she must have missed a dose and did not miss a dose, please advise what has to be done.

Most likely she has missed a pill which has led to withdrawal bleeding which is very common but since she has had pills for 16 days the basic function of giving pills has been served so most likely her hormone profile will be fine in subsequent cycles.
