What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Unwanted 72?
Question: hello doc
i and my GF(15 years old) were fooling around and we indulged in dry sex right next day after her periods get over(i.e. 12 XXXXXXX 2014) which were started on 8th XXXXXXX 2014.while completing the act,i ejaculated in my nickers but there was some dampness on her shorts,she was not wearing her panties though, later she showed to me the spot of dampness on her shorts but it was dry,we both are scared as that dampness may have penetrated her shorts and the sperms enter into her vagina and could make her pregnant.so, she took unwanted 72 after about 3 hours as the emergency contraceptive.today she got bleeding(i.e. 19th XXXXXXX 2014).what could be the reason for this? and can she be pregnant ?would the bleeding be stopped automatically? please reply soon!

If she has taken Unwanted 72 3 hours then there is no risk for pregnancy. The bleeding is because the emergency pill contains a very high dose of hormones and this can cause such bleeding. She may also have irregular prriods for next two cycles because the hormones may not be in balance.
This bleeding usually stops in 2 to 3 days. If she is having excessive bleeding which is more than even a usual period then she must consult a gynecologist.

Thnx doc,that is quite informational.i want to ask another question can anyone get pregnant through the aforementioned manner i.e.dry sex??what necessary precautions should be taken?

Please be informed that age for consensual sex in XXXXXXX is 18 years for boys and girls and it should not happen that tomorrow you may be in trouble for being in a relationship with a 15 year old girl. Sex is a responsible action and both of you must understand the importance of relationships.
Dry sex is completely harmless considering both or at least one partner is clothed. The problem is when due to sexual excitement during dry sex the couple end up in penetrative sex. Also another problem is when there is mutual masturbation followed by self masturbation by the girl and this can increase chance of deposition of sperms near the vagina leading to pregnancy.
The safest way is to have a condom even when mutually masturbating and this also prevents sexually transmitted diseases.

This is also to let you know that today is her 4th day since she took the ipill and she is still bleeding,we are scared as when it'll stop.We are tense as we dont want to go to a doctor,can't you suggest some alternative medicines to stop it?we are sorry for the act and really want to get rid of this problem as soon as possible.
