What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Bowel Movement?
It seems like I am constipated
Yes this is abnormal. You need treatment.
Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you to my virtual clinic HCM!
I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.
The blood that comes doesn't come from vagina. When you defecate the blood comes along with stools and in constipation this blood is due to anal fissure. It is due to the cut (breach) in the mucosa of the anus due to the hard stools and it leads to blood in stools.
Please don't let yourself constipated. Start with Pedialyte to fulfill the water requirement and to replenish the nutrients. Take plenty of fluids especially the clean drinking water to avoid constipation. Take syrup Lactulose 4 TSF at night. It will help in evacuation of bowels in the morning.
Take Citrucel with water. It is a dietary fiber and will help alleviate the symptoms of constipation. Take whole grain foods. No refined wheat, no meat. No fast foods and spicy, junk foods, soda, coffee, tea and energy drinks.
Keep a proper physical activity too. It will help you get better very soon. The more you do a healthy pace jogging, more will your intestinal motility and ease in passing stools.
No water after the meals. Take water as much you can before the meals. Don't stuff the stomach with heavy meals. Small frequent meals are better for you.
There are chances that this tear due to the fissure gets infected. If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you as a prophylaxis, Augmentin and Flagyl antibiotics if not allergic to.
Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you in no time. If satisfied here, please give a generous five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.
For any disease you have, a timely follow-up after sometime regarding the treatment efficacy and to see any need to change the treatment options is very necessary. Keep a follow up some days after this visit session ends.
Regards!
