What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Menopause?

Question: I have been bleeding for three days now I went through menopause 6 years or more ago. Should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Need a gynecologic examination
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query to HealthcareMagic.
I have read your question carefully and understand your health concern.
The most common reason for postmenopausal bleeding is due to vaginal atrophy or genital dry skin due to lack of female hormones, but we can't exclude any benign or malignant process of the inner layer of uterus or endometrium.
Hence you should see a gynecologist for a pelvic examination with transvaginal scan to see the inner layer of the uterus.
Hope I have been helpful and please feel free for further discussion.
Regards
