What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Pregnancy?
Cannot be normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
Bleeding at 6 weeks of gestational age, whatever the amount be,cannot be considered as normal. It can be miscarriage.
It is better to somehow get an appointment with your gynecologist,or at least get an ultrasound done.
Also, you may be asked for some investigations like blood routine examination, thyroid function test etc.If medical causes like hypothyroidism are ruled out,and the cervical os is closed in USG,we need not do anything actively;this just needs adequate bed rest.
Meanwhile, take adequate bed rest, avoid sternness activities, avoid squatting and frequent use of upstairs.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing for everything to be fine.
With regards,

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Usually this results from some dysfunction/abnormality of the placenta, and not baby. Most of the times, this gets corrected its own with adequate rest and other supportive measures.
However to distinguish between a threatened and early inevitable abortion, a detailed obstetric examination and an ultrasound is a must. As it is already 2 days past, yours is probably threatened and not inevitable.
As I told, kindly get back to your gynecologist without delay.
Avoid over stress, and it is also better to avoid coitus till the ultrasound is done.
Hope now you got cleared.Thank you.
