What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Clitoral Stimulation During Pregnancy?
Question: My wife is about 7 weeks pregnant. Last night we had clitoral stimulation and no penetrating sex. Later we notice bleeding. The bleeding however is not continuous. There is no period like cramps or pain. Is this normal? Should I be concern about it? Blood is red not brownish. She doesn't have any bleeding or spot before this.

Does the color of the bleeding which was initially dark red and later bright red,has any significance? Can it be an early sign of miscarriage? Why there is no bleeding before and happen only now after orgasm. Except for a bit of stress (am not sure of the proper word) around the waist there is no other issue. The stress I mentioned is something like the stress we felt when we sit in a single position for too long, or if we are doing something bending down too long.. Otherwise every thing seems normal.. Ultrasound will not happen before tomorrow., hence need some reassurance till then..

The bleeding is not much, she doesn't need a pad but it does leave a stain. The bleeding occurs thrice till now. Last night, in the morning, and during the day. Hoping for the best. Will update you with the ultrasound result when available.
