What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Intercourse And Frequent Urination?

Not a worry...
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Let me evaluate all you are experiencing as following:
- you are reporting to go more frequently passing urine. That is a sign of urinary tract infection (UTI) which is very commonly occurring after giving birth. Further evaluation by your OG specialist is needed together with urine analysis to determine/exclude it and take proper treatment.
- experiencing very bad body aches all over might be related to possible viral infection you're passing through and/or being fatigued after giving birth, especially if you had anemia during pregnancy and after delivery.
I advise to take acetaminophen for the pain and to run complete blood work to exclude/determine anemia. Multivitamin supplementation containing vit.C, folic acid and iron and others are recommended together with healthy eating.
- at the end, you are reporting to have little light pink colour on tissue after intercourse, while giving birth 2 months ago. Then, this pink colour is blood referring possible:
1. vaginal laceration: especially if you had hard sex
2. dry sex: it is common for women not to achieve orgasm in time right after delivery. That's why they cannot follow their partner during sexual intercourse. At the end, you were not able to be enough lubricated, thus, penetration resulted in laceration of dry vaginal mucosa. You can use a lubricant until you reach orgasm totally
3. vaginal infection: it is very common to occur after delivery. I advise to discuss with your OG and to run vaginal swab testing to exclude/determine it. You might need oral medications and vaginal suppositories in case of infection.
Keep a good hygiene of your genitalia. Pass the urine immediately after having intercourse and wash your genitalia.
All the best!

Common viral infection/arthritis...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back XXXXXXX
I am sorry for your body pains. If all your blood tests resulted normal, then, should be tested for possible inflammatory diseases like arthritis.
Common viral infection is to be blamed together with urinary tract problems. Can you please refer the reports of your urine analysis? Are they ok too?
You can take anti-inflammatory drugs (acetaminophen/ibuprofen) safely as they won't give problems to your baby (if you are breastfeeding).
Increase fluids intake and take multivitamin supplementation.
Wish fast recovery!

But dr did say that the clotting blood test was high a bit. What could this mean ?
I also get bruising alot on one leg
Blood taking longer than normal to clot...
Detailed Answer:
H back,
Clotting blood test reveals how long does it take for the blood to clot. If the test resulted a bit high, it means that it will take longer than normal for the blood to clot after bleeding.
This explains why you get bruising a lot on one leg. Even minimal trauma will cause you bleeding (bruising) that will last longer than usual.
There are various causes, should check for possible:
- deficiency in vit.K
- liver problems (liver transaminases)
Discuss with your doctor to rule out these 2 main factors. If everything is ok, then should go for further evaluations (other blood disorders that are causing problems with clotting).
All the best!

Need to analyze blood tests results first...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back XXXXXXX
To judge if it is a major problem, I need to have your tests reports. I need to analyze them and to determine whether it is something temporarily or we are dealing with other issues.
With regards to body aches, as mentioned earlier, it might be due to common viral infection.
As you are having blood clot problems, the same bruising you see on your skin; the same bruising might appear everywhere in your body (even in small blood vessels in the joints or muscles) ; giving the feeling of body aches.
I cannot say for sure this is happening to you as I really need to have your blood tests results reviewed first.
All the best!

Following tests...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Yes, there is treatment depending on the tests results.
Possible tests to run include:
- complete blood work to evaluate the platelet number and morphology
- prothrombin time / INR
- lipid profile
- vit.K test
- hemorrhage/coagulation time
- urine test to exclude infection
- CRP test (C-reactive-protein)
Sometimes, infection/inflammation can cause blood clot tests to be high. If I was your caring doctor would advise the above-mentioned tests first. Depending on the results would advise on other specific tests and proper treatment.

Blood tests would determine the severity...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back XXXXXXX
The full blood count might be ok, but you did not run urine analysis to exclude infection. If infection is present, it will explain the high clotting test.
I should have the requested tests in to determine the severity of your symptoms. However, from what you are describing, I think it might be due to infection. But, need to confirm it first. It is very easy assessing it through the above-mentioned tests. Can discuss it further with your doctor.
All the best!

Specific blood clotting tests are needed for this.
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
If urine test was normal, then, should look for intestinal infection or other sites of infection. If no such infection, then, specific blood clotting tests are advised to rule out real clotting issues and/or if you are more prone to get clots.
If I knew your blood tests in details, I'd help you more specifically.
All the best!
