What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Treatment For Throat Infection?

I then did a urine test with a small local hospital ( I had a bad headache then found out I had a throat infection the next day and a cough) cured it with garlic and honey-however I was also getting vaginal discharge that was coloured ( at one point it was blood red) but not alerting amounts, so I did a urine test and they found bacteria and said it was Cervicitis. I am just confused because I never had sex or penetration before
It is yeast infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern and have gone through the report attached..
Since you had a vaginal discharge, your doctor has done the ideal thing to get a vaginal swab and based on that it is yeast infection.. Even in the urine test there is yeast infection.. But from urine test, cervicitis cannot be diagnosed.. It requires a cervical examination with a speculum..
You have to get yeast infection treated with clotrimazole vaginal pessary or by local application of clotrimazole cream.. Consult your doctor for the prescription.. Keep the area dry.. Use cotton loose undergarments which allows air circulation.. Avoid tight pants till infection heals.. If you sweat a lot keep the area clean and dry frequently..
Hope I have answered your query.. Feel free to ask any doubts..Good day..

Thank you so much for your answer, so from a urine sample you can not tell I have cervicitis? because it had a plus plus sign for bacteria...and I had some pink/brown discharge before that, I just want to make sure I don't have it because I got antibiotics prescribed and I already took two pills! Dr XXXXXXX who took the swab and said it was a yeast infection, told me to use a cream, should I just stick to that even though I have no symptoms? Sorry I am just over worrying and want to make sure I don't have an cervicitis! shall I take a picture of the other report and send it to you? ( urine sample) just in case,
Thank You

Good day..

I uploaded second report, sorry if it is hard to read, its a urine test. It says I have bacteria in my urine ( I had a throat infection the same day I did the test) I also had bloody discharge days before and I panicked ( according to my Period tracker I am 10 days due) I also started working out more and I take probiotics, the day I got the discharge I had taken L glutamine supplements. These are the only differences in my diet at the time,
My friend thinks I am being crazy and obsessive but I want to make sure I am healthy,
She also told me to take CIPRODAR 500 for 10 days, I already took two ( I never take antibiotics and prefer Ayurvedic medicine) should I continue the course or no need
Thank you
Dont worry

Hi,
thanks for writing..
Yes, you have a urinary infection also as the bacteria is 2+ but this is not an indicator of cervicitis.
Continue the antifungal cream and continue the antibiotics for treating urinary infection. Meanwhile get a urine culture. If the culture is sensitive to ciprodar continue it for total 5-7 days and then you can stop it.
Dont worry, it is a small infection. You need not take tension.
Hope I have answered your query. Feel free to ask any doubts. Good day.

Great thank you so much. Will continue my antibiotics but I am planning to drink tomorrow, is it ok to skip one day of antibiotics,
Also will use cream although I don't feel any symptoms, and what could be the reason for my bloody discharge? should I worry about that,
Thank You!
