Date of unprotected sex- Wedbesday, March 18
Birth control pills- Viorele (Desogesrel and Ethinyl tablets USP, 0.15mg/0.02mg and Ethinyl Estradiol Tablets USP, 0.01mg) I would take it everyday at 10:30 p.m.
I stopped the old pack on the 11th and started the new pack in the 12th of march. But I went on a business trip and left my pack home so I missed 3-4 pills before my period arrived again for the second time.
The second period started the 20th of March and lasted through today, March 24t
h
current bleeding is likely due to missing pills

Hello,
Thanks for information.
Normally if you miss pills, you should have back up protection while sex like condom.(You should be aware regarding this)
As your date of unprotected sex on 18th falls around your ovulation period, you should be cautious as this period is vulnerable for pregnancy.
However second period from 20 to 24th almost rules out pregnancy. But still we need to confirm that this early period is only due to missing pills or factor of pregnancy is there.
On 12th you started new pack but you did not mention that during which dates you missed 3-4 pills in between 13th to 20th and how the pills were taken during this period?. And are you still taking white pills?
Do you have any pain in abdomen?
At this junction your treating gynecologist is the best judge to tell you how should you restart your birth control pill.I suggest to visit him once.
Please provide details asked above so I can give more comments.
There is need to go to your doctor

Hi,
Thanks for info. Sorry for delayed response.
If you miss one or two pill you should take 2 pills together and move forward as routine schedule.
You have stopped pills and unprotected sex. This may lead to pregnancy.
In your case thing to be evaluated is that 5 days long period (it should be called withdrawal bleeding due to missing pills)earlier than routine is associated with pregnancy or not. For that physical examination, past history, and may be ultrasound examination is needed.
5 days long period means pregnancy probably does not exist there now. But better to consult your gynecologist for final opinion and restarting the pills.
Please use condom or other alternative contraception until your period regularize.
