What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While Peeing With Abdominal Cramps And Fever?

default
Posted on Mon, 23 Nov 2015
Question: Period 5 days late compared to last months which started on the 20th may be pregnant but two negatives came back. I am bleeding while peeing with occasional cramps and spotting. My father recently passed away and I have a stomach ache and a possible fever, I don't know if that is causing the lateness in my period or what, but I am scared I could be pregnant.

Brief Answer:
Suspect stress to be the driving factor in your case ma'am

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I am sorry to hear about your father, but I would like to share a little information with you for your better understanding. Pregnancy is of course one of the most common causes for a delayed period, but there are numerous others present as well.

Let me list the most common ones out for you:

+Pregnancy: If you do have a positive history of unprotected sexual intercourse recently, then please do get a home pregnancy test conducted at least 2 weeks from the unprotected sexual contact using an early morning urine sample for most accurate results
+Side effect of medications
+Sudden weight fluctuations
+Stress: As you have recently suffered a loss, and this is indeed extremely stressful, you could be experiencing a delay
+Conditions of the reproductive tract: Polycystic ovaries, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, etc.
+General infections (e.g. respiratory tract infection, etc.)
+Poor nutrition
+Birth control pills
and a few others.

I do suspect stress to be the cause for the delay, but after going through the above mentioned list I think you may have a better idea what the cause could be. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy ruled out by the period

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.

If you had your period after the unprotected sexual contact then pregnancy can ve actively ruled out. I would this recommend you to relax and avoid any stress. There is no need to test for pregnancy at all at this juncture and you can surely rule out pregnancy as of now.

Best wishes.
