Brief Answer:
Further tests to exclude uro-vaginal infection advised first...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I understand your concerns.

1. Vaginal Pessary is a device used to support the prolapsed pelvic organs.

2. The vaginal odor and burning sensation when you urinate are indicative for possible uro-vaginal infection. Further tests are recommended:
- urine analysis to exclude urinary tract infection
- vaginal swab testing to exclude vaginal infection

If no infection is present, then, it might be due to irritation of vaginal mucosa when the pessary is inserted. KY untragel is a lubricant that will help ease the irritation. However, I still think you should go for further tests to exclude infection first and get proper treatment.

Hope it was of help!
