What Causes Vaginal Spotting After A Hysterectomy?

Question: spotting blood 4 weeks after a complete hysterectomy. I just was on a 4 hour ride had a family funeral been on the go. This is the first time since surgery I have spotted like this it is very red. I had started memopause at age 47.
