What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Taking Levora?
Question: I've been on altavera for the past 7 months now but in deeber my new pharmacy didn't have It so they put me on Levora instead. I just noticed spotting today and haven't experienced spotting on altavera but have in other birth control pills. I've only been on Levora for a month now. Is this normal?
Brief Answer:
Spotting will slowly resolve
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Levora has similar composition as altavera, so your body will slowly adjust to the changed drug.
Spotting is common for few days after a changed oral contraceptive pill, however it will resolve after 2-3 months when your body will acclimatize to it.
I suggest you not to worry.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
