Yes,vaginal bleeding/spotting aftertaking triamicolone injections is common
Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam ,
Thank you for writing to HCM.
This is Dr.Riyanka answering your query.
I have read your complaints in details.
Yes it is a known mechanism to have vaginal bleeding/spotting after taking triamicolone injections .
Research done on post menopausal women state that since Triamicolone(Kenalog 40 mg) is a glucocorticosteroid, it has a direct effect on the endometrium. As an when the level of this medication decreases in the blood once it gets metabolised/excreted by the body, the endometrium sheds leading to bleeding.
However, kindly inform this to your treating physician/orthopaedician also.

PRP injections when given on the hip are least likely cause spotting
Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam ,
Thank you for writing back.
It has been seen that Platelet rich plasma injections do contain growth factors which can cause sexual rejuvenation and very rarely resuming maturation of oocytes provided the PRP injection is given in the ovary.
However since you are getting treated by PRP injections on the hip it is highly unlikely that spotting could be due to PRP.
I would definitely recommend you that kindly consult a gynaecologist for a Ultrasonography to find out the functioning of the female reproductive organs and endometrial thickness.
If required the doctor may advice a endometrial biopsy as a protocol for investigation in post menopausal bleeding.
However, as stated earlier triamicolone injections are capable of causing spotting in some individuals.

XXXX
Most probably these are pelvic and endovaginal ultrasonography procedures
Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear XXXX,
Thank you for replying back.
Pelvic/Gyn are terms used in medical practice, but from what i can make out most probably you have been asked to get :
Pelvic /gynaecological examination along with a Pelvic ultrasonography(imaging technique) where in a probe is kept on the pelvic / abdominal region and ultrasound waves are sent through it and is reflected back by the various organs and their layers at a different frequency. This helps in visualising the internal pelvic organs to rule out any pathology. It is a completely non invasive and safe procedure.
Endovaginal / Transvaginal ultrasonography is a procedure where in a thin probe is inserted through the vagina and placed there to visualise the ovaries and uterus with better visibility(sharper image) to rule out any pathology. This is also a painless procedure.
I would be able to explain accurately if you can confirm if the doctor has advised Pelvic/ Gyn ultrasonography and endovaginal "ultrasonography" or any other procedure.
Hope this answered your query.
