What Causes Vaginal Spotting, Severe Cramps And Constipation After An Unprotected Sex?
Question: Hello.
I had unprotected sex on 21st May and took Ipill within 2 hours as my boyfriend had ejaculated. I got a white discharge for some time that was dry.
On 31st May, I got severe abdominal cramps and spotting started which has not yet ceased. Today, i.e. 7th of XXXXXXX is the 8th day of spotting. For how long can it be considered normal? When i first had Ipill i experienced tender breasts and a gastro problem, it was like a heartburn. It stopped in two to three days. But since two three days i am having a sensation of heartburn again. I also got a shooting pain in vaginal area for about few seconds in two days. Also it was accompanied by tendered breasts. I have been having constipation too. I am a patient of PCOS and take homeopathic medicines for it but i have not taken it since the time i had sex. I got my last periods on 6th of May and no sign of periods yet.
Please tell me if i could be pregnant? Also tell me if all these symptoms of spotting, vaginal pain, tender breast, heartburn, constipation, the severe cramp that i had ,could be a sign of danger? What should i do about my spotting as its not stopping?

Chances of pregnancy are there because you had intercourse near ovulation ( which occurs on 14 th days of periods)
For heartburn and constipation i would advise you as following guidelines
You should take pantoprazole or omeprazole group of drugs with antacids for heartburn
And Stool softening agent like liquid paraffin for constipation
Avoid fried spicy and junk food

My age is 20. I have spotting in the morning and at any time in between the day. I have not experienced morning sickness so far. I think i am supposed to take the test after 3 weeks of sex and it falls on 12th XXXXXXX You think I can get the correct results if I take it now? I take homoepaethic medicines for PCOS. I am concerned about my spotting as today is the 8th day. Should it be considered serious as it is not stopping? And what about the shooting pain in vaginal area? What are the chances of me being pregnant?

You can do urine pregnancy test now which generally detects pregnancy after 12 to 18 days after possible conception
Shooting pain with spotting is pointing towards infection of urogenital tract
so I would advise you to see your family doctor for urine test for microscopy or culture and sensitivity test
You may require a course of antibiotics under supervision of your doctor depending upon the reports
You should take ibuprofen for shooting pain in vagina along with hot water bath and hot foementation.
Chances of pregnancy are always there with unprotected sex so it can be ruled out only after UPT

Are you sure it can be an infection? I do not have a continuous pain. Just like for a few seconds once a day. And it has happened just two times in the past 2 days.
Can i wait for some more days for my spotting to stop? And for how much time i should wait? Can it be something else other than the infection. As seeing a doctor doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Please just tell me what should i do about my spotting and is it ok to wait more for it to stop? It also has clots in it. And if it is ok to wait , then for how long?
