What Causes Vaginal Spotting While On Oral Contraceptives?
Question: Hello, my period lasted only one day this month and dark blood (april 29th) and that day I started the pill.
Am I covered from pregnancy?
Am I covered from pregnancy?
Brief Answer:
Yes, protected from pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Period can be scanty and delayed after taking the morning after pill.
This is due to the hormonal effect of the pill.
If you have started the oral contraceptive pills from the first day of the cycle, and continue to take it consistently and regularly, then you are protected from pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
