What Causes Vertigo With Loss In Body Balance?
I am suffering from constant head-spinning, feeling like losing control on my body (feeling like these have triggered panic attacks twice in last 6 months). I am taking one Stalopam plus tab once a day and one Embetta XR 25 once a day (during panic attacks, my blood pressure was really high).I have been taking Stalopam and Embetta since last 4 months. And, this feeling of head-reeling is there most of the time, if not always.
Pls suggest.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
head spinning and losing control over body since when?
since when you are taking stalopam plus?
what i feel is that these symptoms are also included in panic symptoms.
such head spinning and loss of control over body lasts for what period?
during panic attacks blood pressure goes high so not to worry about transient high blood pressure.
for panic attacks best treatment is paroxetine controlled release tablet and take clonazepam mouth dissolving tablet as and when required for panic attacks.
Though there are many medication like venlaflexine, desvenlaflexine, tofisopam, opipramol, clonazepam, etizola, etc...
discuss with your treating doctor about above medication.
Also check for if any Ear complain which may also have head spinning problem.
Awaiting your response.
Thank you
I have been experiencing head-spinning and head-reeling along with feeling of losing control of the body since February 2014, when I had my first panic attack.
I have been taking Embetta and Stalopam Plus since Feb 2014 only, I was advised to have these after the panic attack.
I had all the heart checks done, and everything turned out to be fine.
Shall I consult a Neurologist for this?
This is really a bad situation to be in as I am not able to concentrate on whatever assignments I am taking up. Pls advise. And this head-spinning and losing control is almost persistent everytime. It comes back after every 2-3 days of non-existence.
Need to change medication
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
As your symptoms are of panic disorder and no other than that you have.
So don't see head spinning and loss of control of body as different entity other than panic.
So consult your psychiatrist and discuss regarding the medications which I have mentioned in my previous reply.
Is there any other symptoms associated with it like sleep disturbance, appetite disturbance, sadness of mood, loss of interest etc..
And Embetta is not a good option for SOS medication for panic and according to me clonazepam mouth dissolving tablet is a good option. You can discuss this too with your treating doctor.
Awaiting your response.
Thank you
I was under some work-related stress and there was certain amount of sleep disorder when my first panic attack happened.
Until recently(from 7-8 days), I am finding it hard to sleep (sleeping almost 2-3 hours after going to bed, but once I am sleeping, it is constant 6-7 hours of sound sleep) even after taking Stalopam. Also, there is certain loss of interest in work that I am experiencing and I can relate it to the constant head reeling that I am having.
Take regular medicine
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
So consult psychiatrist and discuss above medication.
As due to anxiety disorder with panic attacks you have secondary depressive features so once your anxiety and panic goes away , you also get benefit in depressive features simultaneously.
No need to worry.
Initially took medication for sleep as i suggest you.
Make a habit of doing regular exercise as due to exercise endorphine release in body which is known as happy hormone.
Thank you
