What Causes Vibrating Sensation In The Upper Body?

Question: The last three days I have been experiencing a shakiness in my upper body. The sensation varies between shakiness, shuddering, trembling, and jerking. Sometimes it occurs when I am up and moving, but yesterday it only occurred when sitting or lying down. I was wondering what may be causing this.
Brief Answer:
Neurological disorders are the most probable causes.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking !
The most common cause of the symptoms you described are neurological disorders (parkinson disease, brain tumors ect) that need a detailed clinical examination and radiological examinations that your physician may prescribe.
An overactive thyroid is another pathology that is suggested from these symptoms.
Electrolyte disturbances, low blood sugar levels ect are also probable causes.
So, a detailed clinical examination is the first step that will guide further toward the diagnosis.
