What Causes Vomiting After Changing Formula Milk?
Question: I Changed my Babys formula from SIMILAC 1 to Nanpro 1 Today ,but she vomitted the entire milk. She is also into breast feeding .What can be the reason??Shall I continue with Similac 1,She is 3 months 8 days old .The reason for changing to Nanpro 1 is with Similac 1 she feeds hardly 30 ounce and it becomes difficult to feed her as she turns away her face.My Wife will be joining work very soon.
Brief Answer:
do not change
Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
Babies are very sensitive to taste.
It s generally not desirable to change formula due to not taking enough.
Most of the formula feeds are same except for minor differences- it is like XXXXXXX phones!!
Selling tactics by the companies!!!!!!
Continue Nan pro for next 2-3 feeds .
If she vomits every feed go back to similac.
Continue breast feeds as much as possible.

Hi
Upto at least 6 months 400 iu of Vit d is to be given definitely.( if purely Brest fed or even partially breast fed)
Once the child takes sermisoft food and takes at least 32 oz of milk ( formula feeds) per day then it I us not necessary.
Because the formula feeds contain Vit D .added .
