What Causes Vomiting After Drinking Tea?
symptoms pertaining to Migraine
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query,
I have read through your query and I can understand your concern,
Your wife seems to be experiencing the symptoms pertaining to Migraine.
Migraine is a form of a vascular headache, which is always limited to either one side of forehead. The exact cause of migraine is not know, though a few hypothesis have been made.
Once you know you are prone for migraine, then the line of management involves avoiding the triggers for migraine. Being said that, it means there are certain triggers for migraine, which depends on the individual. I would enlist some of the common triggers below:
- tea or coffee; coffee being the most common culprit.
- inadequate sleep
- menstrual cycles
- stress
- chocolates
- exposure to excessive sunlight or loud noise
Vomiting is also associated with migraine. I would recommend her to start on medications.
If I was her treating physician, I would start her on Tab. Vasograin only when she gets headache. Tab. Norten and Tab. Fine are to be taken as protective drugs, in-order to prevent further attacks. These are prescription drugs, so you will need to consult with a physician in your area, and see if he agrees with me.
For now, she can take Tab. paracetamol 500mg whenever she has an attack. Also take Tab. Pantocid D and XXXXXXX Emeset for vomiting.
Hope this helps
