What Causes Vomiting After Eating Food?

require details
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
welcome to HCM.
As I can understand from the provided complaints, your major complaints are excessive amount of phlegm expulsion from mouth on eating most of the food stuff. Significant amount of weight loss and diagnosis of PSP.
Regarding your concern about type of food causing this phlegm, there are no specific food known to cause such problems. But yes, if the problem is related to the kind of food form consumed, such as if the problem is more on consuming solid food as compared to liquids, this could be of some significance as liquids foods require less effort to swallow than solids.
Secondly, it is worth noting and significant, if the variation of phlegm production is with the quantity and amount of food consumed.
The weight loss is explainable and could be secondary to the inadequate nutrition.
Considering the diagnosis of PSP, a detailed information regarding the symptoms such as difficulty in swallowing, neck muscle rigidity, difficulty is chewing, etc needs to be found, as they could explain the 'phlegm' related problem.
We shall continue the discussion in follow up.
I shall help you dealing with these issues in my subsequent answers. However before that it is important for me to have your answers in respect to the above mention regards.
kindly follow up with the information soon.

Are there questions you have for me to answer?
RE: my diagnosis of PSP" i really don't have a problem swallowing my food. But sometimes there is a " fullnes"feeling in my throat so
I'll take a couple of sips of liquid(usually water) and then it starts" There are times when I can't breathe and I feel like I could die from it!
Secondary, it doesn"'t matter if I've eaten only a small amount of food, the phlegm is still a huge amount in comparison.
Thirdly, it doesn't seem to matter if it is solid or liquid food, the same thing hsappens in both cases. A large amount of phlegm is vomitted up.

Dear,
Thank you for the reply.
If there is associated breathlessness, in that case it is important to consider the possibility of COPD. we need to check and investigate for conditions like bronchiectasis, bronchitis, asthma, or any other respiratory problem.
Chronic respiratory problems generally produce large amount of phlegm and sputum, the production is more in mornings. It is less known to be associated with food intake.
Here we need to consider the presence of if at all any symptoms of infections like fever, cough, chest pain, severe breathless XXXXXXX etc.
Chest X ray will help us to rule out any respiratory cause if present.
Considering the presentation of your symptoms, we need to elicit certain signs and auscultate chest. Therefore, i would suggest you to show yourself to local physician for this complaints of your.
