What Causes Vomiting After Having Glevo?
Question: My mother started a course of Glevo 750 for 20 days and just after 1 day of taking medicine she is suffering from vomiting.what should i do

1. It appears to be due to gastritis.
2. Ask her to take it after food or during food. No problem with drug action.
3. Half an hour before food, she can take medications like pantoprazole with domperidone. It will reduce gastritis with vomiting.
4. Avoid spicy or sour food.
5. She is at present suffering from urinary tract infection. Not to worry about serum Iron, its good. She needs to continue medication for early recovery.
6. Repeat urine analysis, after completion of treatment.
7. Elevated glucose levels could be due to infection/ stress. After completion of treatment, repeat test maybe necessary.
Not to worry. It is known to occur commonly with glevo. If required, you can take prescription from your doctor for the medications.
Continue the treatment.
