Brief Answer:
Likely to be due to reflux

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-magic
Greetings f the day

The cause of throwing up could be due the following
1. Large meal causes reflux of food contents: Gastro-oesophageal reflux
2. Drug induced Gastritis
3. Associated throat congestion congestion

I would suggest the following which will help relieve the symptoms

1. Antacid and Gastric prokinetic drug: Pantoprozole and Domperidone taken twice a day will be helpful
2. Siethicone based liquid antacid
3. Warm saline gargling: To a glass of lukewarm water add 2 spoons of common table salt. Gargle the throat with it thrice a day
4. Steam inhalation: 15-20 minutes each session twice a day
5. Mucolytic cough syrup: Bromhexine based mucolytic cough syrup will help in expulsion of secretion.
