What Causes Vomiting, Dizziness And Migraine Headaches During Pregnancy?
Simple Precautions advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your health concerns.
Yes migraine headaches worsen in pregnancy because of the effect of progesterone which causes vasodilatation and thus headache.
Tylenol can be taken once in a while but not routinely as it is known to decrease the blood supply to the baby.
Best will be to take tablet paracetamol which is safe for both mother and baby.
Also take a note of following points -
- take a lot of rest, even if unable to sleep for long jeep lying down in bed reading or listening to soft music
- avoid concentrating on anything even on television
- avoid sexual activity
- take liberal amount of tea, coffee and chocolates
- can take a mild sedative after discussing with her doctor so that she sleeps properly
- always take her meals on time and avoid long fasting due to any reason.
All the best
