No one else in the family has migraine. She does not become irritable. Her blood pressure has not been checked by a doctor. She does not sleep during the episode and does not have weakness of the limbs. She just went for a physical a week ago and was told that what she is feeling could be related to her inner ear, but the doctor did not check for this.
Brief Answer:
Could be a migraine still
Detailed Answer:
Hi...I feel this could be a migraine because the history is fitting in classically.
I have these suggestions for you -
1. Get her ears checked by a paediatrician by otoscopy.
2. For her headache you can give Paracetamol. Kindly get back to me with the answers to above questions and also mention his weight so that I can suggest you the formulations which are good. But as of now - you can give oral Paracetamol in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly.
3. Definitely she needs her blood pressure to be checked.
I wish your kid a speedy recovery. If you need any future medical consultation and suggestions, I will be glad to help. You can approach me at the following link. Please find the link below.
