What Causes Watery Eye Discharge After Accidental Lodging Of Foreign Body?

default
Posted on Wed, 30 Dec 2015
Question: Something went inside my left eye day before yesterday which I'd failed to take out. (I don't know if it's still there or not. It can't be seen). My eye has been watering, and leaking out goop. Also, when I sleep, i wake up with this layer of (excessive) goop all over my eyelashes. I'm planning to go see an eye doctor tomorrow as no eye doctor sits on a Sunday in my locality. Meanwhile, please suggest what should I do?

Brief Answer:
REFRESH TEARS will help momentarily.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I can certainly understand your concerns.

As per your history, you possibly seem to have an established foreign body lodged in the palpebral fissures of the eye. This can sometimes cause a difficulty that it cannot be relieved on its own.

This requires a thorough evaluation through a slit lamp eye examination.

Meanwhile, I advise you to go for Methyl cellulose eye drops available as REFRESH TEARS.This will cause soothing effect and help to lubricate the eye.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe this ED to you.

Post your further queries if any,
Thank you.
