What Causes Weakness In Left Arm, Numbness In Left Leg And Double Vision?
Question: Yesterday I experienced a lack of control of my left arm. It felt like it wasn't a part of my body for a few minutes. I also experienced double vision for a few minutes. When we got home, I couldn't feel my left leg and couldn't stand up again for just a few minutes. Today I feel fine. What could have caused this?

I have noted your symptoms and based on that, we should exclude a diagnosis of TIA (transient ischemic attack).
In TIA, the blood supply to a part of brain gets reduced for a short while and causes various neurological symptoms. The symptoms recover in less than 24 hours, mostly within a few hours.
It is important to diagnose, as some people may get a major stroke if not treated.
Investigations would require MRI brain with angiogram.
Aspirin tablets should be started.
