What Causes Weight Gain When With A History Of TOF?

Question: I have a history of TOF which is now fully corrected. Last surgery was done 14 years ago and I have been having regular follow-ups since then which are normal. I have never actively exercised, nor faced any severe problems. Off Late my work timings and changed lifestyle has led me to gain a lot of weight. (From 67 kg to 76.5 kg). I wanted to lose some weight and improve my stamina.
Are there any inhibitions or things I should take care of before I join a gym? I will also ask for a personal trainer in case I need monitoring. Is there any exercise I should refrain from doing?
Attaching my most recent reports for your reference.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Need your ECG as well
Detailed Answer:
I need to have look at your ECG before recommending exercise for you. we look at qrs duration in ecg also to predict sudden events during exercise. generally looking at your history and echo finding there should not be contraindication for routine aerobic exercise and recommend against anaerobic or weights. you can do free hand exercises, cycling and treadmill. start slow on early and gradually increase. all exercise should be symptom limited that means moment you feel uncomfortable, you should stop.
