What Causes White Bumps And Black Heads On Chest?

Question: iv had this skin issue for about 8 years and am unsure of the cause its like small white bumps an blackheads all over my chest some of the white bumps feel like the go deep in skin
Brief Answer:
It seems to be due to accumulation of sebum
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Going by the mentioned details it seems that the white ones are sebaceous cysts which are caused due to blockage of the openings of the sebaceous cysts causing sebum to accumulate within the glands. When the sebum escapes through the mouth but gets oxidised, it forms a black material which we commonly refer to as blackheads. If that is the case, it is not a cause of concern.
However to be sure, I would suggest you to upload an image using the facility in the upper right of this page and I would be happy to help you out.

Brief Answer:
Sebaceous cysts can be drained by incision and drainage
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
I have gone through the image and indeed my suspicion seems correct. These sebaceous cysts can be drained by a process called incision and drainage i.e. a small XXXXXXX is surgically made and the contents are released. Unless they are bothering you, I do not think that is required but it might be a matter of personal choice.
Hope that helps.
