What Causes White Patches On Penis And Testicle?

Fungal infection groin region, take treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
From the description, it looks like you have developed a severe fungal infection of the groin region called tinea infection.
It leads to dryness and scaling in the groin region and the inner thigh area which can be associated with severe itching. It usually heals with darkening of the affected skin.
You should take regular treatment so as to cure this problem completely.
Keep the affected area clean and dry.
Apply a topical antifungal cream like canestan or candid cream over the affected area twice a day.
Do not apply any other cream or oil over the affected area.
Take oral tablet levocetrizine once a day for two weeks.
Take tablet fluconazole 150 mg once a week for two weeks. This is basically an oral antifungal tablet which accelerates the healing process and prevent recurrence.
Wear cotton undergarments so as to decrease sweating.
Once you take the treatment for two weeks and the infection heals up completely, start using candid dusting powder in the groin region twice a day. You can stop all other medicines and continue to use this powder in summers every year so as to prevent recurrence of infection.
Hope it helps

Any lotion which could be used to clean infected area ? These tablets don't have any side effect right ?
use any mild soap
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
You can simply wash the area with any mild soap. Avoid using harsh soaps like dettol. You can use Dove .
Also the medicines that I have told are both very safe drugs and are widely used as well.
Levocetrizine can cause some sedation, so you can take it at night only.
