What Causes White Rough Patch Under Eyes?

Question: the area just below my eyes has turned very ruff and turned white in color, i dont use any kind of creams and used the same soap that i m using from past 4-5 months
Brief Answer:
Sounds like dry skin
Detailed Answer:
Hello Ms XXXXXX,
Thank you for posting your question.
From your description, I think the white, rough patch is a patch of dry skin, but will have to examine you clinically to be sure about it.
The other possibility is a superficial fungal infection called tinea versicolour.
My suggestion to you is to get yourself examined by a skin doctor and ask him/her to do a test for fungal infection. Once the problem is identified, it will be straightforward to treat it.
Till that time you can use a mild moisturising cream.
Hope this answers your query, please feel free to ask me if you have any doubts.
Wishing you good health.
Kind regards

i hav applied the moisturising cream but and now the skin has stopped coming off bt the skin is still very ruff , and can i know y this is happening
Brief Answer:
Roughness is due to dry skin. Continue moisturiser
Detailed Answer:
Hello again Ms XXXXXX,
The roughness of the skin is due drying of the skin, probably due to exposure to cold and arid climate.
This will also get better in about 2 weeks time, do not worry, continue applying the moisturiser and you will see that the skin will become soft again.
Hope this answers your question, please rate and review my answer if you are satisfied with it.
