Hello again.
The oral cavity needs to be examined. Aphthous ulceration is a possibility, however , it is painful and not painless. A painless lesion with increasing size and having suspicious look would require oral brush biopsy for confirmation. This should especially be done in case of a positive history of tobacco chewing and smoking. B complex vitamins, folate supplementation and doxycycline can be advised. Oral candidiasis should be looked for. If evidence is consistent with typical plaques then antifungal medication like fluconazole can be prescribed, in consultation with your doctor. In the meanwhile , try to maintain the oral hygiene via mouthwash such as niflam or enziclor.
