Brief Answer:
Suggestive of Pterygium.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX XXXX, Hi & Welcome.
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
From the history given in the query you seem to have a common eye condition called as 'Pterygium' which is a benign growth that develops on the conjunctiva or mucous membrane that covers the white part of the eye (sclera) & sometimes extends onto the cornea (central transparent front part of the eye). It affects the people who spend a lot of time outdoors.

Since it is coming in the way of your vision I would advise you to consult an ophthalmologist (eye doctor) for proper evaluation and treatment.

Meanwhile you can use artificial tears containing Carboxymethylcellulose 3-4 times in the affected left eye. Use sunglasses (ultraviolet-blocking) to reduce further exposure to sunlight.
Hope the suggestions given above would be useful.
If you have any follow up query, please do feel free to ask.
Best wishes.
