It is normal
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcare Magic.
Let me assure you that in a child of this age it is normal to pass stool 10 times a day or even once in 10 days. So, passing stool four times is completely normal and nothing needs to be done about it. The formula milk can give rise to some undigested matter that causes the white spots. Nothing needs to be done about it.

Should we continue giving him formula milk as production of mother's milk is not sufficient for the baby? Does it harm the baby in any manner? I am little concerned about his motions.
Brief Answer:
Not advisable
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
Breast milk is the best possible feed for a baby and there can be no alternative for the same. Its production is dependent on the demand of the baby. The hungrier the baby, more vigorous is the suck and more the suck, more is the amount of breast milk produced. Giving formula milk thus automatically depresses breast milk production and hence is not advisable provided that the frequency of passage of urine is more than 6 times in 24 hours. Formula milks are cow milk based and have a number of demerits.
You need not worry about the motions. Just switch back to exclusive breast feeding.
