What Causes White Vaginal Discharge?

Question: I am experiencing white discharge lately. It is white in color and most of the times odorless. Amount of discharge is not too high, just that I feel wet.
Previously I used to experience it once in a while, but very little and I thought it is normal.
From a month it is happening almost everyday. This happens more when I meet my boyfriend, just a talk about kiss or hug would start it.
I have not consulted any doctor yet. I have read somewhere that this is common, but just want to make sure all is well and avoid this from happening.
Could you tell me if it is normal? If not can you suggest some medication to prevent this..

I feel relaxed to know that it is normal. However I would like to know if I can prevent it. I don't like that wet feeling, I feel unclean. Can you suggest something?
