The image is a bit out of focus and I would request you to take another image by placing your great toe slightly farther from the camera. The skin coming off or becoming whitish should not be a cause for concern. I need to know if the skin of that area is peeling off. I would also need to ask about the degree of pain associated. Also mention how long it has been there.
